It's a sad time for motorcyclists everywhere when a good man goes down in an accident. On Monday, June 8, 1998, Erold (the Whale) Ansell went on his last ride. Being from Austrailia and visiting in the United States for a 6 month vacation, he had momentarily forgotten to ride on the right side of the road. This mistake cost him his life and deprived many of us who had met him via the Internet from the opportunity to shake his big hand. He will be sorely missed. In memory of this friend I never had opportunity to know personally, I give this tribute. Goodbye my friend. |
